    This 1952 proof Jefferson is a dream come true! It’s extremely difficult to find a Jefferson of this year with any kind of frost. The nickel is a very dense metal and in 1952, the mint was unable to produce a high number of frosted examples. However, the obverse offers Cameo "plus” frosted devices against pitch-black mirrors that are flawless to the eye! The reverse is brilliant with just a hint of frost on Monticello. This is a knockout example for the date and grade. Very deserving of NGC’s STAR designation, NGC has only graded 7 examples in PF 69 STAR with none graded higher! 1-1-5
